Softball Preview: Houghton Lake Bobcats vs. McBain Ramblers
The Houghton Lake Bobcats will square off against the McBain Ramblers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Houghton Lake managed to slip by Lake City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats lost 10-4 to the Trojans last Wednesday.
Savannah Luu spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and eight unearned) runs on ten hits.
At the plate, Megan Houserman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Natalie Yost also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
