Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Bellevue Wolverines

The Roosevelt Roughriders will take on the Bellevue Wolverines at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Roosevelt was able to grind out a solid win over Bishop Blanchet, taking the game 68-58. The Roughriders haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Bellevue was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Seattle Academy 92-53. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Bellevue, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 21-3.

Roosevelt skirted past Bellevue 42-39 in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roughriders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
