Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Enterprise

Enterprise had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the North Forrest Eagles as they made off with a 7-1 win.

AJ Raiford and Haygan Floyd did most of the damage at the plate: Raiford scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Floyd scored two runs while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Raiford a new career-high in RBI (two).

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7. As for North Forrest, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Enterprise and North Forrest will both be playing Richton the next time they take the field. Enterprise will host Richton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while North Forrest will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
