Football Recap: Trimble Tech Comes Up Short

Trimble Tech lost against Saginaw back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs were dealt a 48-14 defeat at the hands of the Rough Riders.

SIRPAUL McCULLOUGH threw for 54 yards on six of 12 attempts. NICK GAINS was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards. On the ground, ELIJAH WILLAIMS rushed for 77 yards and one score.

Among those leading the charge was Joshua Greek, who threw for 164 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Derek Harris also deserves some recognition as he hauled in his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Trimble Tech's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Saginaw, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trimble Tech will take on Wyatt at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chaparrals will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Saginaw, they will face off against Arlington Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rough Riders will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
