Basketball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton lost against Jefferson back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dayton Pirates were dealt a 67-36 defeat at the hands of the Jefferson Lions.

Dayton's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for Jefferson, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Dayton has already played their next contest (against Amity), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-44 victory against Taft on the 15th.
