Basketball Game Preview: Bandon Tigers vs. Myrtle Point Bobcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bandon Tigers face off against the Myrtle Point Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Bandon lost to Oakland on the road by a 49-33 margin. The Tigers have struggled against the Oakers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reedsport.

Bandon's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Myrtle Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Bandon beat Myrtle Point 47-36 when the teams last played back in January. Will Bandon repeat their success, or does Myrtle Point have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
