Softball Game Preview: Liberty Leopards vs. Lordstown Red Devils

The Liberty Leopards will face off against the Lordstown Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Liberty is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Monday. They came up short against Brookfield, falling 15-4.

Liberty saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Hernandez has hit this season. Another was Abby Harris, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Lordstown lost 12-1 to Bristol on Monday. The Red Devils have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lordstown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
