Basketball Recap: Trinity Beats Etna for Their Fourth Straight Win

Trinity had won three straight games and Ryker Robles did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Trinity Wolves put the hurt on the Etna Lions with a sharp 61-40 victory thanks in part to Robles, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Straatman, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave him a new career-high.

Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Etna, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against Modoc at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Modoc is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Etna, they will challenge Mt. Shasta at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
