The Seton Hall Prep Pirates are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Seton Hall Prep's 21-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Arts 62-30 on Thursday.
The losing side was boosted by Gino Romano, who scored eight points. He scored a full 26.7% of Seton Hall Prep's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Beazer, who scored two points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Dwight-Englewood's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. The game between Dwight-Englewood and St. Mary wasn't particularly close, with Dwight-Englewood falling 40-21.
Seton Hall Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dwight-Englewood, they bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
