Basketball Game Preview: Tarkio Indians vs. South Holt Knights

Tarkio is 2-7 against South Holt since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tarkio Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Holt Knights at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Tarkio was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Mound City.

Meanwhile, South Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Mound City.

South Holt's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Tarkio, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Tarkio was able to grind out a solid win over South Holt when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 48-37. Will Tarkio repeat their success, or does South Holt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
