Basketball Recap: New Life Camp Comes Up Short

New Life Camp was the 60-57 winner over St. David when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The New Life Camp Storm fell 57-45 to the St. David's Warriors on Friday. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for George Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds for St. David's. The dominant performance gave Coleman a new career-high in boards. Henry Morisey was another key player, going 7 of 9 on his way to 16 points.

New Life Camp's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. David's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

New Life Camp will be playing in front of their home fans against Chatham HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chatham HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.8 points per game this season. St. David's and Greenfield will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully St. David's likes a good challenge.
