Hamilton Heights has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Hamilton Heights Huskies and the Christel House Eagles will round out the year against one another at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Hamilton Heights came up short against Lebanon and fell 58-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hamilton Heights in their matchups with Lebanon: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Christel House unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hamilton Southeastern. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Christel House has scored all season.
Despite their loss, Christel House saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Josiah Jackson, who scored 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. The matchup was Jackson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jaden Davis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Hamilton Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Christel House, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-1.
