Basketball Recap: Fountain Lake Takes a Loss

Fountain Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morrilton Devil Dogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cobras of the 58-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Fountain Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Morrilton, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.

Fountain Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morrilton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-45 win against Robinson on the 28th.
