Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Reagan walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Franklin Academy Panthers with a sharp 89-63 victory on Monday. The Bison's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sebastian Gonzalez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 25 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ronal Hodelin, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards.

Reagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points over those games. As for Franklin Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Reagan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-49 defeat against Somerset Academy on the 5th. Franklin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
