Football Recap: Natalia Cerrado's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Regina Dominican over Rosary

Regina Dominican was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 26-14 to the Rosary Royals. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Regina Dominican's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalia Cerrado, who threw for 167 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 45 yards. 82 of Cerrado's passing yards were hauled in by Payton Aylward, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Regina Dominican's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rosary, they pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Regina Dominican didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-6 win against Christ the King on the 6th. As for Rosary, they have also already played their next match, a 26-6 victory against Resurrection on the 4th.
