Soccer Recap: South Seneca Takes a Loss

If South Seneca was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Red Jacket on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 8-1 to the Campbell-Savona Panthers on Monday. While losing is never fun, South Seneca can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Campbell-Savona are ranked 98th).

South Seneca has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Campbell-Savona, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Seneca will take on Naples at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Campbell-Savona, they will square off against Alfred-Almond at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
