Harding County barely beat Hettinger/Scranton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ranchers put the hurt on the Black Devils with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Ranchers haven't had any issues with the Black Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Harding County never let Hettinger/Scranton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-14.

Kaydence Gilbert paced Harding County's offense, picking up eight kills. Gilbert got some help from Kamry Padden and her 20 assists. Lexy Rolph controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Harding County's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Hettinger/Scranton, they dropped their record down to 2-13-2 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Harding County and Hettinger/Scranton will both be playing Bison the next time they take the court. The Black Devils will host the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Ranchers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
