It's playoff time, and Bay Port had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Franklin Sabers 42-13. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won nine contests by 29 points or more so far this season.

Bay Port pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Coming up, Bay Port will square off against Muskego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
