Basketball Recap: Hayes Wins Going Away Against Marysville

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Hayes's strategy against Marysville on Saturday. The Hayes Pacers strolled past the Marysville Monarchs with points to spare, taking the game 64-48. The Pacers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Monarchs, too.

Hayes now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Marysville, they dropped their record down to 3-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hayes will venture away from home to face off against Worthington Kilbourne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hayes knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Worthington Kilbourne likes a good challenge. Marysville will take on Thomas Worthington in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
