 Pittsfield is 8-0 against Franklin since April of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Pittsfield Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Franklin Tornadoes at 4:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Having struggled with four  defeats in a row, Pittsfield finally turned things around against Nute  on Friday. Pittsfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Nute  and snuck past  7-5.
 Meanwhile, Franklin scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Monday. They blew past Farmington 16-5. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Franklin with their most commanding win of the  season.
 Franklin got a  massive  performance out of  Owen Hannigan, who  scored four  runs and  stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kourtney Kaplan, who  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
 Pittsfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Franklin, their win  ended  a  ten-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-15.
