League recap: Reynoldsburg stuns Lincoln in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Reynoldsburg, who took down 44th ranked Lincoln, 21-7. Jordan Aekins threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 112 yards in the win.

Pickerington Central suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 37-0 loss to Pickerington North. The Tigers had been ranked 18th, but fell to 26 following the defeat.

The Raiders' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kaleb Murray helped Reynoldsburg's passing attack out by catching two balls for 44 yards.

Mykel Trayler-Bennett was the best wideout in Ohio Capital - Ohio this week as Reynoldsburg defeated the Golden Lions. Trayler-Bennett racked up two receptions for 58 yards.

Reynoldsburg's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Aekins has thrown for 681 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Trayler-Bennett has 14 catches for 292 yards. Kumar Collins leads the league in rushing with 333 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on Buddy White's team. At the moment, Pickerington North is in first, while the Raiders are in third.

Tom Phillips's team extended the longest winning streak in Ohio Capital - Ohio this week by beating Pickerington Central, 37-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
