Football Recap: North Warren Regional Comes Up Short

North Warren Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 22-12 to the Belvidere County Seaters. The Patriots lost against the County Seaters in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 37-0 score last time.

North Warren Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Belvidere, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. North Warren Regional will take on Kinnelon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Belvidere, they will challenge Middlesex at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The County Seaters will be up against the Bluejays' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
