Basketball Game Preview: Glencoe Panthers vs. Coyle Bluejackets

The Glencoe Panthers will head out to face off against the Coyle Bluejackets at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Glencoe will be strutting in after a victory while Coyle will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Glencoe duked it out withAgra on Tuesday. Glencoe blew past Agra 68-33. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Bearcats are ranked 487th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Coyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 71-50 to Carney.

Coyle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Glencoe, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7.

Glencoe was able to grind out a solid victory over Coyle in their previous meeting on January 3rd, winning 61-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glencoe since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
