Soccer Recap: Sandia Comes Up Short

Sandia came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hope Christian Huskies, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Sandia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Hope Christian are ranked first).

Sandia's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hope Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.

Sandia wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Eldorado on the 6th. As for Hope Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Del Norte on the 6th.
