Roosevelt barely beat McLane the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rough Riders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highlanders on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rough Riders in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won eight in a row.

While Roosevelt won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Torres, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Central on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Torres never let Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-12.

Torres' victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 21-9.

Roosevelt might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Torres when the teams last played back in September.
