West Limestone waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. They had just enough and edged out the Dunlap Eagles 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

JuliAnn Kyle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lilly Bethune, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

West Limestone's win bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Dunlap, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, West Limestone will square off against Austin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dunlap, they will take on Castle in a tournament on Friday.
