Football Recap: Northbridge Piles Up the Points Against Bay Path RVT + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Northbridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past the Bay Path RVT Minutemen to the tune of 40-6 on Saturday. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Joel Lachapelle was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 282 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 34 yards and one score. Those 282 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Morodney Daigle, who gained 77 total yards.

Northbridge's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.2 points on average over those games. As for Bay Path RVT, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Northbridge will venture away from home to take on Tantasqua Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bay Path RVT, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blackstone Valley RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
