Basketball Recap: Vernonia Falls Short of Nestucca in the Playoffs

Vernonia and Nestucca squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Vernonia had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 53-38 to the Nestucca Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 31-21 loss last Tuesday.

Vernonia's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Nestucca, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

As of now, neither Vernonia nor Nestucca have any future games scheduled.
