Basketball Recap: South Point Takes a Loss

South Point and Erwin squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Point had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Erwin Warriors by a score of 45-43. The Red Raiders have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Erwin, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.

South Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Erwin, they will take on North Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Lincoln will roll in looking for their 27th straight win, something Erwin surely won't give up without a fight.
