Basketball Recap: Sentinel Drops Season-High Score on Mountain View-Gotebo

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sentinel). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers 79-52. Given Sentinel's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Mountain View-Gotebo is ranked 429th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sentinel's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Sentinel has already played their next match, a 54-52 loss against Vici on the 4th. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, they will challenge Granite at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Granite's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
