Houston came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Collierville, but Autry, Lawrence wouldn't allow it. The Dragons blew past the Mustangs 49-27 on Thursday with plenty of help from Lawrence, who rushed for 170 yards and six scores while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 21 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Collierville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Joshua Gale and Tae Walden Jr. Gale has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times he's played. Jayden Majors was another major factor on D, making 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Collierville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.8 points over those games. As for Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Collierville and Houston are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Dragons will be playing at home against White Station at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. Collierville will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.7 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Houston, they will head out to face off against Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
