Baseball Recap: Strawberry Crest Chargers vs. Chamberlain Storm
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Strawberry Crest and Chamberlain had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Everything went the Strawberry Crest Chargers' way against the Chamberlain Storm on Thursday as the Strawberry Crest Chargers made off with a 13-0 victory. With that win, the Chargers brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Saxon Shah and Nico Cappucci made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Shah pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Cappucci pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Shah has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
