Lake Travis faced Eastlake in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cavaliers skirted past the Falcons 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Leading Lake Travis to victory were Xyanna Stephens and Addison Rioux. Stephens had 20 digs and three assists, while Rioux had 19 assists and five digs. That's the most digs Stephens has posted over her last 12 games.

Alayna Rodarte-Clemente and Mia Varela certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Rodarte-Clemente had 11 digs and one assist, while Varela had nine digs and one assist.

Lake Travis' win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Eastlake, with the loss, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-2.

Lake Travis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Torrey Pines on the 30th. As for Eastlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Round Rock on the 30th.
