Softball Recap: Eastern Wayne Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eastern Wayne can now relate to. They lost 11-0 to the Randleman Tigers on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eastern Wayne dropped their record down to 9-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Randleman, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Eastern Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randleman, they will take on Nash Central on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season.
