Volleyball Recap: Rouse Beats Lehman for Their Fourth Straight Win

Rouse came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lehman Lobos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rouse was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-4, 25-10.

Rouse's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Lundquist, who had five aces and five assists. That's the most aces Lundquist has posted since back in September of 2024.

Lundquist wasn't the only good server: Rouse was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive games.

Rouse's victory bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Lehman, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rouse is set to face off against their familiar foe Hays at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lehman will square off against rival Liberty Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
