Ashley has gone 8-2 against Laney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Screaming Eagle will take on the Buccaneers. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ashley comes in on six and Laney on 17.
Ashley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They beat Apex Friendship by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3.

Ashley got a great performance from Jackson Lee as he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Lee has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Tanner Berry was excellent, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Ashley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Laney earned a 5-2 victory over Millbrook on Friday.
The team relied heavily on TJ Ziermann, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. JB Brooks was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Ashley's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Laney, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Ashley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Laney struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Ashley couldn't quite finish off Laney when the teams last played back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Screaming Eagle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
