Bowie is 9-1 against Austin since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Maroons at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bowie took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Akins. Given Bowie's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Akins are ranked 444th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Joshua Lewis and Django Van Brunt scored all three of Bowie's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Austin made easy work of Clemens on Friday and carried off a 4-1 win. With Austin ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Austin's record now sits at 7-5-1. As for Bowie, they pushed their record up to 11-1-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Bowie was able to grind out a solid win over Austin in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, winning 2-0. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Maroons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
