Wake Christian Academy had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and Evann Curry did her part to make it 11 on Thursday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Ravenscroft Ravens with plenty of help from Curry, who had 20 digs and six aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Wake Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Wake Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Ravenscroft, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Looking ahead, Wake Christian Academy will face off against Wesleyan Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ravenscroft, they will take on East Chapel Hill at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
