Recap: Buhach Colony Thunder vs. Patterson Tigers
The Buhach Colony Thunder's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Patterson at home and fell 80-47. Buhach Colony has not had much luck with Patterson recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Buhach Colony's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elijah Garza, who scored nine points along with six assists and four steals, and Carter Chapman who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Garza continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Sahota, who scored eight points.
Buhach Colony's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-12. As for Patterson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.
Buhach Colony will head out on the road to square off against Merced at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Patterson, they will be playing at home against Golden Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Golden Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
