            Football Recap: Johnson County Longhorns vs. Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders        
        
		
        
        
            
Johnson County extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They were dealt  a  41-0 defeat at the hands of the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders. The  matchup marked the first time this year in which the Longhorns were not able to get on the board.
As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Highlanders, who have now won seven games by 27  points or more  so far this season.
 Gatlinburg-Pittman was led to victory by  Tyson Sutton and  Brayden Maples.  Sutton threw for 161 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, while  Maples rushed for 51 yards and one  TD. The dominant performance also gave  Sutton a new career-high in  passer rating (155.1).  Jackson Savarese got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Johnson County is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Unicoi County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Gatlinburg-Pittman will  face off against  rival Chuckey-Doak  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
