Basketball Game Preview: General Trass Panthers vs. Union Parish Farmers

The General Trass Panthers will take on the Union Parish Farmers in a holiday battle at on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

General Trass is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Bastrop on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 87-21 loss at the hands of the Rams. The Panthers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Union Parish scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 90-82 to Bastrop. The Farmers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

General Trass' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Union Parish, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

General Trass was able to grind out a solid victory over Union Parish in their previous meeting back in November, winning 46-37. Will General Trass repeat their success, or does Union Parish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
