Preview: Berwick Panthers vs. E.D. White Cardinals
Berwick has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The E.D. White Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Berwick will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 216th, while E.D. White is ranked 14th).
Last Thursday, Berwick lost to Central Catholic at home by a decisive 21-6 margin.
Meanwhile, E.D. White put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Donaldsonville 44-6 on the road. Fans of E.D. White have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
E.D. White's win bumped their season record to 7-0 while Berwick's loss dropped theirs to 2-5.
Berwick suffered a grim 45-21 defeat to E.D. White in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can Berwick avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
