Volleyball Recap: Estancia Takes a Loss

Estancia lost against Costa Mesa back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0.

Estancia took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 27-25.

Estancia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Costa Mesa, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Estancia and Costa Mesa will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to challenge their familiar foe La Quinta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Costa Mesa will face off against rival Laguna Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
