Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Broward). They really took it to the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-40 victory. With the Bobcats ahead 45-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Matthew Martinez was his usual excellent self, going 12 of 15 on his way to 27 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bedirhan Menguc, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards.

West Broward was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

The win made it two in a row for West Broward and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for Pompano Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

West Broward has already played their next matchup, a 77-51 defeat against Cypress Bay on the 27th. As for Pompano Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-22 victory against Hollywood Hills on the 23rd.
