Recap: Riverdale Ridge Ravens vs. Niwot Cougars
The Riverdale Ridge Ravens stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Niwot 81-13 at home. That looming 81-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Riverdale Ridge yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverdale Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brihanna Crittendon, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Crittendon is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Brooklynn Charlo was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with six assists and five steals.
Riverdale Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Niwot, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale Ridge will challenge Skyline at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Skyline: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Riverdale Ridge has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road. As for Niwot, Niwot and Severance will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
