Basketball Recap: Towner-Granville-Upham Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Towner-Granville-Upham won against Westhope/Newburg last Thursday with 80 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Everything went the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans' way against the Westhope/Newburg Sioux as the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans made off with an 80-58 victory. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly 22 points.

The win (which was Towner-Granville-Upham's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Westhope/Newburg, they, and North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette]. As for Westhope/Newburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Towner-Granville-Upham will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Surrey at 7:15 p.m. on January 21, 2025. Westhope/Newburg and North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 30th. North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
