Volleyball Recap: Gloucester Comes Up Short

Gloucester lost against Swampscott back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fishermen lost 3-0 to the Big Blue.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-7, 25-16.

Gloucester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Swampscott, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Gloucester will square off against Minuteman Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Swampscott, they will face off against Peabody Veterans Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Big Blue are facing the Tanners at the right time seeing as the Tanners are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
