Oakwood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Batavia Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Oakwood, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Batavia with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lily Montgomery, Maddie Darr, and Maya Florendo.

The victory was the third in a row for Oakwood, bringing their record up to 17-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Batavia, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-5-3.

Coming up, Oakwood will challenge Ross at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ross' defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Oakwood's offense will have their work cut out for them. Batavia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
