Baseball Game Preview: Winamac Warriors vs. South Central Satellites

The Winamac Warriors will challenge the South Central Satellites at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Winamac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Winamac is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Caston just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 8-7. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Comets since on Saturday.

Hutch Martin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Cody Wheeler, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for South Central's offense. They lost 16-0 to Boone Grove on Monday. The Satellites haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Winamac, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
