Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Scott). They secured a 52-46 W over the Girard Trojans on Tuesday. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Fort Scott's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Girard, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Scott will welcome Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Girard, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against St. Mary's-Colgan at 7:15 p.m.
